この度財団法人地球環境戦略研究機関（IGES）関西研究センターでは、最近企業の中で導入が急速に進んでいる環境会計の実態に関する調査をすることにした。 環境省のガイドラインが平成12年3月に公表された後、多くの企業が環境会計を導入公表してきた。平成12年度「環境にやさしい企業行動調査」によると上場企業で17.3％、非上場企業で10.1%の企業が既に導入し、導入を検討している企業は上場企業で34.2％、非上場企業でも17.1％にのぼっている。 一方、環境保全コストや効果の定義や範囲がはっきりせず、どのように集計すべきかわからないとして環境会計を導入していない企業も多くあり、また、導入している企業においても環境保全コスト及び効果の定義や範囲並びにその測定方法については様々であるのが現状である。...
