IGESは、一般社団法人日本経済団体連合会（経団連）との共同により、持続可能な開発のための世界経済人会議（WBCSD）作成の「人権に関するCEOガイド」の日本語翻訳版を発行しました。 本ガイドは、企業が人権問題に取り組むことの重要性やCEOのための行動のポイントを解説するものです。公害や気候変動問題に代表されるように、環境問題によって引き起こされる人権問題が多くあります。また、資源調達においては、児童労働や強制労働といった人権問題と森林破壊といった環境問題が同時に発生することも少なくありません。人権問題への対処および環境問題と人権問題の統合的解決に向け、ぜひ多くの企業の皆様に本ガイドを活用いただければ幸いです。

2019年9月6日（金）に開催された「『SDGs実施指針』改定に向けたステークホルダー会議」にて報告した資料です。 同会議では、日本政府が2016年12月に採択した実施指針改定に向けた議論が行われました。会議の成果は、SDGs円卓会議構成員有志によって提言書がまとめられ、9月9日の「SDGs推進円卓会議」にて、塚田玉樹 外務省地球規模課題審議官に手交されました。

２０１８年４月に閣議決定された第５次環境基本計画において、「地域循環共生圏」の概念が提唱されました。「地域循環共生圏」とは、各地域が美しい自然景観等の地域資源を最大限活用しながら自立・分散型の社会を形成しつつ、それぞれの地域の特性に応じて、他地域と資源を補完し支え合うことにより、地域の活力が最大限に発揮されることを目指す考え方です。本事例集では、他の国や国際社会に参考となるような地域循環共生圏に関する日本の16の先進的取組を紹介することで、世界の各地で地域循環共生圏を創造する取組を後押しすることを目的としています。 本書のダウンロードはこちら（PDF） http://chiikijunkan.env.go.jp/pdf/jirei/jirei1_all.pdf
