ベトナムは日本を含む多くの国にとって重要な木材製品供給国である。同国は、木材加工貿易国であり、熱帯諸国から丸太や製材を輸入し、木材製品に利用している。また、国産材については、小規模農家が管理する植林地が重要な木材供給源となっているが、木材生産者が多くなりサプライチェーンが複雑となっている。こうした特徴は、輸出される木材製品の合法性確認を行う上での課題にもなっている。 本発表は、ベトナム政府が定めたリスク基準（樹種及び地域リスク）に基づき日本に輸出される木材製品の中で、どの製品にどの程度リスク木材が含まれるのか、貿易データに基づく傾向を明らかにするとともに、国産植林木を使った製品のデュー・デリジェンスに活用できるベトナム事業者の取組事例を紹介する。

「持続可能なフードシステムの構築のための食料バリューチェーンにおける環境負荷等の見える化に関する研究開発業務」では、食料バリューチェーンにおける環境負荷等の見える化プロジェクト活動を推進するために、日本において輸入を通じた環境負荷の程度が大きいコモディティを対象に、食料のバリューチェーンの構造を分析した。また、環境・社会・経済の３つの側面から、バリューチェーンの現況を調査し課題を把握する。加えて、把握した課題に対する改善策や解決策を生産者や輸出入業者等を含むステークホルダーとともに検討を行い、持続可能なフードシステムの構築に資する知見を提供することを本研究開発の目的とした。本報告書では、インドネシアにおけるパーム油生産とベトナムにおけるコーヒー生産について実施した、研究開発の実施項目 ①～...
