インドネシアの中央カリマンタン州において実施している「環境配慮型石けん系泡消火剤を用いた森林・泥炭地火災の消火技術普及・実証事業」に関する活動概要である。シャボン玉石けん株式会社、北九州市立大学、北九州市消防局、地球環境戦略研究機関(IGES)が、パランカラヤ大学をカウンターパートとして、国際協力機構(JICA)のSDGsビジネス支援事業として、2023年5月~2025年5月において実施している。シャボン玉石けんが開発した石けん系泡消火剤の消火性能、環境性能、社会経済性を実証するとともに、現地に適合した普及方法を調査している。 本ポスターは、IGES主催の「第15回持続可能なアジア・太平洋国際フォーラム」(2023年12月に、於:横浜)のポスターセッションにおいて発表された。

今年度の本事業では、都市間連携事業を通じた日米連携による第三国の脱炭素支援の推進するため情報収集、情報発信を行うウェブサイトの構築・拡充、また、 post コロナ・ with コロナにおける社会変容を捉まえたうえでの環境インフラ導入等の議論を行うための国際フォーラムを開催した。これらに加え、都市間連携事業パンフレット等の作成、ウェブサイトを通じた情報発信を行う等、 post コロナ・ with コロナにおける脱炭素都市のあり方について検討を行い、脱炭素・低炭素化事業の案件形成や制度構築支援の強化・推進に努めた。
